Loch Ossian 2006

LYPP have just returned from a fantastic weekend at Loch Ossian. 14 Young folk and 6 'oldies' spent a fab few days away from the streets of Linlithgow. No TV, No running toilets, No litter bins, No showers & No hair dryers - But lots and lots of fun, laughter, team work, wonderful fantastic awesome views, great tasks, mega meals and special quiet times to listen to nothing but the running water or the wind. A spiritual experience.
Would we go back - YES!
I have posted a selection of pictures for you all to enjoy and copy for your own use. Let me know what you think.

I loved your photos. I spent ~1 1/2 months at Loch Ossian Hostel in 1978. I worked with Tom rigg as a gillie at the hunting lodge on the other end of the Loch. We would clean the deer, put them on a horse, and bring it out of the mountains. Tom was so much fun, a character who loved the mountains and had a lust for life. I think back on those days with a smile. Your photos brought back the splendor of the place. I wonder how Tom is doing, for he was the warden there for many years. Someday I will go back to Loch Ossian...
